During the altercation, another individual sustained a minor injury and received on-site medical treatment, as per the police statement.

The Denver Police Department, through an exhaustive investigation, identified the shooter as a 13-year-old male, who was taken into custody late Thursday afternoon. While currently held for investigation of first-degree murder, the final charges against the juvenile will be determined by the Denver District Attorney’s Office.
