Rapper and actor 50 Cent, also known as Curtis Jackson, is facing backlash after posting a series of provocative throwback photos featuring himself and R&B singer Ciara on Instagram. The controversial images, meant to celebrate the 16th anniversary of his third studio album “Curtis,” have sparked outrage among fans, particularly those supporting Ciara and her husband, NFL quarterback Russell Wilson.
The photos in question were taken during 50 Cent and Ciara’s four-year relationship, which ended in 2010. They include intimate shots where both artists are scantily clad. One image shows Ciara with her hand inside 50 Cent’s pants, while another depicts the rapper grabbing Ciara’s buttocks. The final photo showcases the two gazing into each other’s eyes with their bodies intertwined.
In his caption, 50 Cent reflected on the album’s anniversary and mentioned writing the track “Curtis 187” during that time. However, the risqué nature of the photos quickly overshadowed the intended celebration.
Several Instagram users criticized 50 Cent for sharing the pictures, expressing concern for Ciara, who is now married to Russell Wilson. Comments such as “That’s someone’s wife now,” “Fif calmly saying I hit it first is next level,” and “Russell Wilson ain’t going to like this” flooded the post.
Ciara and Russell Wilson have been a couple since 2015 and recently marked their seventh anniversary. Their affectionate relationship is evident through the public displays of affection they frequently share on social media.
